By the way, the name “Strawberry Moon” is thought to have been first used by the Algonquin tribes of North America, due to the relatively short season for harvesting strawberries. Also, the full moon nearest the summer solstice “shines through more atmosphere than at other times of the year, making it more likely to have a reddish color.
Two groups will hike about one hour away from Jeddah with different distances and paces: Beginners and more advanced hikers are welcome to take part! Last month, as all of us were recovering from overindulging during the Holy Month of Ramadan and from an Eid Holiday, we had an easy hike. It will be tougher this month!
Hejaz Ultra has been organizing Full Moon Hikes since 2018. this will be our 21th Full Moon Hike!
