World Health Month by UnderArmour
With only a few weeks to run in pleasant weather and before the Holy Month of Ramadan starts, we want to gather for the occasion of World Health Day, a WHO initiative, and run up and down the East-Dhahban dunes!
We will offer a great running experience for both dunes first-timers ( 3.5km ) and seasoned runners ( 7km ) with only 20 runners in each group to respect the COVID-19 protection measures. We are also inviting runners to join Virtually if they can not attend the East-Dhahban dunes run.
We will meet at 06:15 AM on the Usfan Road where we will check temperature and Tawakkalna App before driving (Sedan is ok – SUV preferred) another 15 minutes to the start of the run. You will need a mask at the start of the run for the Safety Brief.
Running with a hydration pack or a small backpack with 1 to 1.5L will be a must.
Sunscreen + sunglasses and a hat, as well as a buff or tube bandana or scarf are recommended.
If you are joining virtually, download Map My Run and run your own 7km route from wherever you are. Be part of the community challenge by using #UARunSeries to post your results.

World Health Day
April 7 of each year marks the celebration of World Health Day. From its inception at the First Health Assembly in 1948 and since taking effect in 1950, the celebration has aimed to create awareness of a specific health theme to highlight a priority area of concern for the World Health Organization.
