XL Merciless Half-Marathon v2022.02
Trail Half-Marathon in Wadi Fatimah, between Jeddah and Makkah.
Note: This is a Difficult course.
Note: there is NO shortcut. and we can’t come back for you halfway through the trail. you’ve been warned.
Hikers can join the group doing 12km ( 6km out and 6km back ) but must self-navigate. there is no ”guide“.
Note that runners who have not run a Sub2hours Half-Marathon should also join the Hikers group. they can extend beyond the 12km but may not join the XL Runners.
MTB’ers may join the XXL! Should be good fun (ha!)
23.4km: it is a XL Half-Marathon
Merciless: Trail in Wadi Fatima. No water till you finish. You’ll need at LEAST 3L No support on the trail. No one is coming for you.

- 05:20AM: meet @ HARDEES near the Flag on Andalous St (https://goo.gl/maps/qUP61YdxTd42)
- 05:30AM leave towards the car park
- 06:45AM reach Car Park
- 06:50AM start running.
- 09:45AM Finish:
(XXL runners will continue running to the Start. Drivers amongst the XL runners will hop into one of the cars dropped off to collect the rest of the vehicles at the start )You will need a fully charged phone to mark the start of the car park to be able to find your way back. You’ll need a Hydration Pack with 3L. buff, hat, sunglasses. etc . 1.5L to 2L is ok for 12km runners/Hikers.
